In April 1991, Barbara and Tomasz Glaza have opened their first art and industrial design gallery, Glaza Expo Design. Tomasz, an Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk graduate, related to the art and design society for 37 years, is an active architect, designer and industrial design producer. Barbara runs the gallery for 20 years and works with many artists representing variety of art. forms. She organizes vernissages, exhibitions and meetings that promote art and culture, she integreates various creative and business societies and public benefit organizations.
Agnieszka and Małgorzata, the daughters also take part in life of the gallery. Agnieszka, aslo an Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk graduale, exhibits her paintings in the galery and works as an interior designer. Malgorzata, who graduated from law faculty at the University of Gdansk, helped her parents in running the gallery.
On the 17th of August, 1991, for the first time in post-war Poland, Glaza Expo Design gallery starts a partnership with Rosenthal, a German glass and porcelain factory. For ten years, the gallery presented and sold works of the Rosenthal factory, as well as of the Polish porcelain factory Cmielow. At the same time, to this day it offers a large variety of paintings, drawings, graphics, sculptures, jewellery, glass items and unique clothing.
We work with a group of about two hundred already renowned artists, and with many young ones, who are just beginning to exhibit their works.
We also run mail order sale.
We organise vernissages and exhibitions.
